      Position Objective:

      The District Sales Manager promotes and sells AAF International's products and services in accordance with established sales policies and procedures while maintaining relationships with existing customers.

      Key Accountabilities:

      • Develop relationships by demonstrating company services/products to customers through personal meetings, seminars and surveys.
      • Inform customers of supply and price and supply trends and assists in inventory control and product availability.
      • Secure and renews orders and performs other selling activities. Responsible for growing sales and profitability of assigned areas.
      • Call on existing or potential customers to establish and maintain relationships.
      • Stay informed on new products and other general information of interest to customers.
      • Maintain records and submits timely reports on all phases of activities, included but not limited to call reports, as required by management.
      • Stay informed of changes in assigned territory that might affect product sales. Gathers and shares information regarding competitive product development total customer satisfaction as measured by established criteria.
      • Maintain a teamwork philosophy with other departments to facilitate problem solving and provide good customer service.
      • Moderate travel may be required (30%).
      • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

      Position Requirements:

      1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Business or related field preferred;
      2. Understanding and experience with high-value added product selling, pricing, negotiating and channel management;
      3. Ability to communicate and sell both products and value concepts at all organizational levels;
      4. Must be able to synthesize various input and ideas into relevant and clear strategies and secure buy-in from diverse teams in order to implement them;
      5. Possesses a natural way of influencing, both internally and externally;
      6. Must have experience in providing strategic direction for the development of targeting marketing and promotional campaigns designed to achieve specific growth objectives;
      7. Team player with proven success in building strong national and remote sales teams;
      8. 1-2 years prior selling experience;
      9. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
      10. SAP and/or CRM preferred.
